Was in the duke the other week, nice bit of grub and do a few good beers in there as well.
Cuckfield is good as well, but the barman in there calls you buddy too much. Really gets on my tits. Cuckfield was a fucking great pub mid/ late 90’s was always mobbed in there.

The Duke is the better pub on Nightingale Lane these days.
The Cuckfield and The Manor House, both on the High St are decent too.

I remember when he bought the Britannia
Description: This small but real East End pub not far from Upton Park was once owned by West Ham United legendary full back Frank Lampard Senior.
The team often retired here with Frank and Bobby Moore after a game and it truly was a mecca for Hammers fans. The players even kicked a ball around the back garden here with fans!

Lampard senior has spent the last 17 years following his son's career. More likely junior has provided the funds if there is truth in this.
Meanwhile junior has got off to a good start at Derby. 3-0 win over Southampton on Saturday.

Always liked the Nightingale, heard Lampard senior was involved so assumed it would be turned into flats.

Saw him few weeks ago in the High Street going into the 2 cottages that were being rebuilt. As the hoarding was still up i'd take a guess he has something to do with them as well
